REPORT ON THE DETENTION OF MINORS IN

COURT HOLDING FACILITIES

CALENDAR YEAR 2022

Facilities must complete a report for each detention of a minor in a court holding facility that was OVER six (6) hours. That is, a report must be submitted each time a minor is securely detained or confined in a court holding facility.


Please submit the report by the 10th of the month following the incident.

SECTION I. FACILITY IDENTIFICATION

Name of the facility where the minor was detained or confined prior to, and following, a trial or hearing.

SECTION II. MINOR'S INFORMATION

The JJDPA prohibits the detention of delinquent minors over six (6) hours. Please do not include time that a minor spends in the actual courtroom for their trial or hearing. Calculate total time using only time spent in secure detention BEFORE and AFTER the trial or hearing.
