Request approval for capital equipment purchases that have not been pre-approved
Capital Equipment is defined by Federal regulations as tangible personal property (including information technology systems) having a useful life of more than one year and a per-unit acquisition cost which equals or exceeds the lesser of the capitalization level established by the SFA/LEA for financial statement purposes, or $5,000.
Will the food service fund (Fund 21) be used for this purchase? Do not include purchases from other funds.
Does Fund 21 have an adequate SFA profit and resources for this purchase? Note: C.R.S.22-32-120(2): capital outlay shall not be included in computing the cost of reimbursable school meals served
