First Reconciliation and First Communion Registration

MEETING DATES:

• First Reconciliation Parent ONLY meeting will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

• First Communion Parent ONLY meeting will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. and will include dinner in the Parish Hall. RSVP

• Tours of the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Sign-up for that will be forthcoming.

• First Communion Parent & Child Retreat will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 and Saturday, March 21, 2026. 9:00 am to 11:30 am. SignUp will be forthcoming.

SACRAMENT CELEBRATION DATES:

• First Reconciliation will be celebrated on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10:00 am in the church.

• First Communion Students in Religious Education and in St. Hugo School Classroom A4 will receive the sacrament on Sunday, April 19, 2026,at 2:00 pm.

• First Communion Students in St. Hugo School Classroom A1 & A2 will receive the sacrament on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

If your child was not baptized at St. Hugo, and if we do not already have a baptism certificate for your child on file in the Religious Education Office, please contact the parish of baptism by phone to request a copy of your child's baptism certificate to be sent to: St. Hugo of the Hills Religious Education Office, 2215 Opdyke Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304. We can be contacted at 248-642-6062 if you have any questions. Parents should keep original baptism certificates that were issued at the time of baptism.
