Iowa Space Grant Consortium: Graduate Fellowship Program

Application Deadline: October 17, 2025


Thank you for your interest in the NASA Iowa Space Grant Consortium Graduate Fellowship Program. Each fellowship is worth $6,000 and is good for one year. Applications must be submitted by October 17, 2025 as well as all letters of recommendation.


Open to students enrolled full-time at Iowa State University and the University of Iowa.


In order for your ISGC Fellowship application to be complete, you must fill out this form (all required questions are marked with an asterisk).


Your application will be evaluated based on how well it addresses the following:

*Merit of proposed research - Are the goals of the research attainable? Are the proposed methods feasible?

*Research timeline - Is it feasible to complete the research within the one academic year fellowship timeline? *Are tasks and milestones clearly articulated?

*Alignment - Is the proposed research aligned with NASA's Strategic Goals and/or the goals of the ISGC?


Submission of at least one recommendation letter from the research mentor is required. A second letter would also be accepted, but is not required.
