Net Zero, Circular Economy and Clean Tech | 12 November 2025


As a valued Innovate UK Business Growth client, you are invited to express your interest in the Innovate UK Business Growth Invest-Ability Pitch Panel taking place on Wednesday 12 November 2025, in-person (Wales).


This Invest-Ability Pitch Panel is looking for businesses that focus on Net Zero, Circular Economy and Clean Tech, within the following scopes:


  • Net Zero encompasses innovations that actively engage in reducing emissions, renewable energy adoption and carbon offsetting. These efforts collectively contribute to achieving a sustainable and carbon-neutral future.


  • Circular Economy encompasses innovations that engages in several impactful activities such as resource recovery, product-life extension and circular supplies.


  • Clean Tech (climate tech) are innovations that encompasses processes, products, or services that reduce negative environmental impacts through significant energy efficiency improvements, sustainable resource use, or environmental protection activities. It spans a broad range of technologies, including recycling, renewable energy, green transportation, and more. Clean tech aims to enhance operational performance, productivity, and efficiency while minimizing costs, energy consumption, and pollution.

All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of experts to identify the most suitable companies for this Invest-Ability Pitch Panel or alternative Invest-Ability Pitch Panels.


You will be notified of the outcome of your submission by Wednesday 22 October 2025.

Important Expression of Interest Information

The online expression of interest must be completed and submitted in a single session - you can't save your answers and return later to finish your submission.


To facilitate the process, we have created a Word document including all the questions, which you can download and pre-populate with your answers. You will then need to copy and paste these answers from the Word document into the online expression of interest and submit.

Please note that, in order to help identify the most suitable candidates, we will use all the information provided in this expression of interest to evaluate each submission on a range of criteria. We encourage you to provide as much information as possible to illustrate your suitability.


Sections 1, 2 and 4 are context setting and help us establish your appropriateness for this activity. Section 3 is scored.

 
 

Section 1 - Client Details

A copy of your pitch deck in the format you would use for a 5-minute pitch and should not exceed 15 slides.

The statement should detail their personal assessment of your preparedness for the Invest-Ability Pitch Panel that you are expressing an interest for. It should also outline the support they have provided to help you prepare effectively and make the most of this opportunity.

This offering is funded by Innovate UK Business Growth. As a result, a range of data points must be collected to assess your eligibility to attend the Invest-Ability Pitch Panel.


To comply with Innovate UK Business Growth funding requirements, Newable, BIC Innovation and Innovate UK Business Growth will collect and store your registration data and any information or communications recorded during the Invest-Ability Pitch Panel for auditing and project evaluation purposes.
