ASTA Student Chapter Awards Application

The American String Teachers Association (ASTA) offers two annual awards for ASTA Student Chapters:

Outstanding Student Chapter

Most Improved Student Chapter

All active student chapters are eligible to apply for one of these prestigious awards.

The ASTA Student Chapter Awards are presented annually at the ASTA National Conference. Winners receive a commemorative plaque, as well as recognition on ASTA platforms.

These awards are presented to two student chapters that are actively involved in promoting strings at their college/university and in the surrounding community. If you would like your student chapter to be considered for an award, complete this application and submit by the deadline listed on the ASTA website, www.astastrings.org.

2026 Applications DUE October 1, 2025. Notifications will be sent in November 2025.
