2025 NEHES Fall Conference

Call for Abstracts

September 28 - October 1, 2025 | Springfield, MA


To assist with education planning, the New England Healthcare Engineers' Society is soliciting abstracts for presentations at the 2025 Fall Conference. We ask that all abstracts support the conference theme: "Gambling on Healthcare's Future: Don't Leave Compliance to Chance."


Each abstract submission should include at least three specific learning objectives to help identify what attendees will be able to apply in their workplace following your session.


Please ensure submissions are educational and do not include sales/product/service content.


Submission deadline: Extended through June 6, 2025

Selected presenters will be notified by July 3, 2025

Session Format*

Session Description

  • Include a concise (30-50 word) description of your session to appear in NEHES Fall Conference marketing materials, should your presentation be chosen.
  • This description should accurately reflect the content of your session and summarize what prospective attendees can expect to learn.


*Presentations must be educational in nature and free of solicitation content.*


Abstract Content

  • Abstracts should be between 400 and 600 words.
  • Describe your topic for review by the presentation selection committee.
  • Explain, for example, how the problem/issue was identified; the approach used to address the problem or issue; the challenges and barriers faced; the method/analysis that was used; the conclusion or outcomes achieved; and recommendation(s) related to the topic.


Learning Outcomes

  • Please provide three (3) observable, measurable learning outcomes for this session as an outline of what attendees will learn or be able to do after attending your session.
  • Outcomes should be succinct and concrete to avoid misinterpretation.
  • All three (3) outcomes must be submitted for your submission to be considered.

Continuing Education Credit

To qualify for ASHE CEC approval, session must relate to the content outline categories of the CHC or CHFM examination which can be found in the candidate handbook and application at the following link: https://www.aha.org/career-resources/certification-center. Please note which categories apply to your session below.
