Terps for Change Participant Application Fall 2025

Terps for Change is a semester-long program in which volunteers, led by student coordinators, visit a local site to perform hands-on community service once a week. To engage more deeply with and better understand systemic inequities, volunteers participate in weekly facilitated dialogues focusing on team-building, social issue education, identity, inclusion, and more. Volunteering with Terps for Change is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on service experience in a specialized issue area, professional development skills, and the ability to speak across differences about complex topics.

  • Volunteering and Dialogue Starts: Monday, September 29, 2025 (week of)

If you are not available for a time/day of week, please do not rank that as a preference. All site times listed include travel to and from the site, and are subject to change as we approach the beginning of our program. Please note that all Fall 2025 sites are taking place in person. Visit www.stamp.umd.edu/t4c to learn more about each community partner.

**Note: When placing applicants at our volunteer sites, we take into account both your preferences and the community partner’s needs. This means that we cannot guarantee placement at your first-choice site, but we do strive to get you placed at one of your top three choices. We hope that you will consider this carefully when providing your preferences and keep an open mind to our placement decisions.
