Take Centre Stage at Windsor 2026

This is one of the most prestigious events in the Scouts calendar and Queen’s and King's Scouts from across the UK and beyond are eager to take part in this exciting volunteering opportunity.

Team of Ten: Colour Party
Six King's Scouts have the honour of carrying the Scouts' Colours (flags) at the front of the Parade and in St George's Chapel.
Team of Ten: Service Planning and Delivery Team
Four King's Scouts will have the privilege of creating and delivering the National Scout Service in St George's Chapel. They're mentored over a few weekends to generate, plan and deliver an inclusive act of reflection and thanksgiving to their fellow Queen’s and King's Scouts and invited guests.
Section Leaders
A Section Leader is the first point of contact for a King's Scout on the parade. You'll be trained to instruct and guide the King's Scouts through the event, leading your section during the parade.
Criteria
You must have achieved your Queen's or King's Scout Award and be over 18.
For a role in the Team of Ten, you'll also need to be aged 18-26 at the time of the event.
Expenses
All food, travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for the Selection Weekend, Training Weekends and the Event Weekend.
