Project Alignment with Forward Fund Goals*

Identify how your project is aligned with the Forward Fund's goals of improving or maintaining the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of organizations that provide services for the benefit of the City's residents, workers, and visitors; and how your project helps to achieve the priorities identified in the CRA’s 2023 Strategic Plan, or the City’s Envision Cambridge Citywide Plan. Sustainable Best Practices*

In the CRA's 2023 Strategic Plan, the CRA committed to invest in sustainable development, and to support climate change mitigation and adaption initiatives. Please explain how this project has considered or been designed with sustainable best practices in mind. Environmental sustainability in capital infrastructure projects can relate to many aspects, ranging from energy efficient mechanical equipment, use of sustainable and recycled materials, to responsible disposal of construction waste. For more details, refer to the City’s Envision Cambridge Climate and Environment Plan, and Sustainable Development page.
