PNCWA SRF Policy Survey

Funding for the State Revolving Funds was cut at the federal level in the FY24 appropriations bill. WEF is encouraging affected stakeholders to engage and support strengthening the SRF programs as water-related infrastructure needs are as high as they have ever been.

The Board and Government Affairs committee is looking for feedback from our members about our Association’s engagement with our legislators in Congress.

The Board does not take action on issues that do not impact all three states, but some, such as this, will affect everyone.

How do you, as a PNCWA member, want the Board and Government Affairs committee to engage on this issue?

Directly support increased funding of SRFs to legislators on behalf of our membership. (Direct support includes PNCWA signing on to industry letters to elected officials and/or PNCWA sending its own letters supporting increased SRF funding.)

Provide members with information, encouragement, and guidance on how to directly support increased funding

Provide members with information about the issue and guidance on how to contact legislators with their own thoughts
