Online Business Registration Application

Online business registration is currently available only for the following clients:

1. For businesses that are remitting payment by mail and in the form of a check.

2. For government agencies, not-for-profits, or charitable organizations. Such organizations are not required to pay a fee but we do ask organizations submit their registration via the Fee-Exempt application category.

PLEASE NOTE: If remitting payment in-person with a check, cash, or credit card will require the submission of a paper-based registration application.

• Annual Registration Renewal application is for existing West Chicago businesses; payment must be postmarked before 12/31 of registration year; $100 if past due.

• New Business Registration application is for new businesses or expansions; occupancy permit required.

• Registration Transfer application is for existing West Chicago businesses with change in ownership; occupancy permit required.

• Fee Exempt application is for gov. agency, not-for-profit, religious, or charitable organizations.

• Relocation or Name Change application is for existing West Chicago businesses relocating within City limits or that change business name.
