Advising Providers: Legal Strategies for AMCs, Physicians, and Hospitals Call for Speakers
To submit an idea for AHLA's Educational Content, please fill out the information on the form. AHLA values and seeks to advance and promote Inclusive, Diverse, Equitable, and Accessible (IDEA) participation within the Association. We are committed to having volunteers represent a broad cross-section of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, and disability. Different perspectives matter. Great topics often include speakers or authors from different backgrounds – private practice attorneys, in-house counsel, government representatives, consumer advocates, consultants, academicians, senior and junior – pairing up to present different views on the submitted topic.
This conference combines the best of two long-standing AHLA programs— the Academic Medical Centers and Teaching Hospitals Institute and the Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute. In this compact and comprehensive two-and-a-half-day conference, expert presenters share strategies and solutions for the legal, operational, and business issues challenging health care providers today.
Whether you advise hospitals, physicians, or health systems, you will collect real-world takeaways related to:
- Payment and Reimbursement
- Transactions
- Fraud
- Clinical Research
- Graduate Medical Education
- Medical Staff and Peer Review
- and more!
In-Person Conference proposal:
- If you are submitting a session proposal with co-speakers, please be sure to confirm their participation before submitting their name.
- One conference session cannot have two speakers from the same firm/organization.
- Suggest a very advanced or masters level topic. Most sessions submitted hit the “intermediate” level of audience knowledge. We’d like to include some very advanced topics submitted by qualified speakers.
