Event Sponsorship & Fee Reduction Request
When St. Edward’s University allows an external organization to receive discounts on the use of event space and/or resources, it is considered a university sponsorship (or donation) to the groups. As such, a tangible benefit is expected in exchange for the sponsorship. The tangible benefit may represent a contribution to the SEU student experience such as student participation or attendance at the event, beneficial brand alignment, professional development for employees, etc. Sponsorships discounts are calculated on the full-price, fair market value of use of the space and resources provided. The maximum sponsorship discount is 50% of the total rental fees. Labor fees are not eligible for discounts. Approval by the sponsoring department’s respective Vice President is required for all sponsorships.
