Committee Requirements

Composition: The committee must consist of at least four total faculty members (one supervisor and 3 committee members). One member must be from a department other than the student's own.
Primary Supervisor: The primary supervisor must be from the student's home department and related to their selected specialization. If an alternate supervisor is proposed, a rationale must be submitted to the Dean of the college for approval.
Submission Responsibilities: The student is responsible for submitting the committee nomination form. This form must be fully submitted at least three weeks before the scheduled date of the Qualifying Examination.
