New Teacher

The CASE Scholarship Committee has specifically written prompts in this section to cater to New Teachers who have not taught in the classroom full-time. If you have held a contract with a district and taught with full certification, please go back and select Contracted Teacher.

Please provide a narrative about how you will plan to cover the remaining costs of attending a CASE Institute if you do not have a teaching job or if your future school is not willing to fund the remaining portion of your attendance.

(500 words or less)

How do you perceive that your future students would be positively influenced by using the CASE curriculum in your classroom during the 2025-2026 school year? Be as specific as possible.

[3] The impact on students is clear. No data is present, but anecdotal evidence shows that students would benefit.

[4] The impact on students is evident, with some data given to support reasoning. The effect would be great.

[5] The impact on students is very evident, with data given to support reasoning. The effect would be significant.

(Please don't recap the impact of CASE in general. Our judges know and love CASE, but they do not want to hear another "pitch". They want to hear about the unique needs and skills of your students. What will CHANGE if you become CASE certified in a new course?)

(Please don't recap the impact of CASE in general. Our judges know and love CASE, but they do not want to hear another "pitch". They want to get to know YOUR program! Some programs are integral in the school, others are well known in their community. You may not have a statement for all aspects of this question, but judges would like to know how this scholarship can make an impact beyond the classroom.)
