IDEA Assessment Tool for AHLA Leadership

This form serves as a standardized tool to monitor leadership groups’ efforts to advance inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) goals in furtherance of the Association’s statement of commitment. The AHLA Board and the Membership, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (Membership-IDEA) Committee will use this information to assess the success of the Association’s current strategies, and to consider other ways to promote IDEA in Association activities.

NOTE: AHLA staff provides an annual dashboard to the leadership that highlights demographic data of volunteers that is self-reported by members. The dashboard includes the number and percentage of members who answer questions related to their racial or ethnic diversity, disability and veteran status, gender, and sexual orientation.
